At the completion in May of our three-year Mortgage Reduction Campaign, Forward in Faith, we will be conducting a  mortgage burning ceremony followed by a picnic on church grounds.  The date will be determined when it is safe for us to be together.


  • Rally Day in September welcomes everyone back to Sunday School, with a picnic on the church grounds. Music, presentations, readings, games and food are part of the day.
  • Annual Stewardship Campaign
  • Ecumenical Thanksgiving service
  • An intergenerational Advent Workshop to prepare us for Christ’s birth. Children and adults gather for arts and crafts, making chrismons (ornaments) for the tree, advent wreaths and candles, and manger scenes with clay, wood, fabric and all sorts of organic materials.
  • A Christmas Pageant, enjoyed by all and performed by our Sunday School children, tells the story about Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem. See calendar.
  • Christmas Eve services at 5:00 pm and 7:30 PM
  • Christmas Day service at 10 am
  • Vacation Bible School -  last week in June
  • Ecumenical Martin Luther King Jr. service
  • Our Lenten Workshop to provide a quiet, contemplative look at the 40 days preceding Holy Week and Christ’s death on the cross.
  • Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm

  • Weekly Lenten services at 7:30 pm preceded by soup and bread suppers provided by our committees

  • Services during Holy Week on Maundy Thursday at 7:30 pm and Good Friday at noon and 7:30 pm

  • Sunrise Easter service at 7:00 am, with usual Sunday service at 8:30 am and 11:00 am

  • Our Christian Education program includes special workshops and discussions about current topics of interest – including parenting and will planning.

  • Workshops, assemblies, and gatherings - As a member of the New Jersey Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we’re invited to participate in workshops, assemblies, and gatherings across New Jersey and the United States.
